This time, and my prior visit, it also appears to be in lieu of attentive service by wait staff. Our table of four was neglected several times. We were never asked for a drink order. A Little About The Hollingsworth Name: The Hollingsworth's were an old Saxon family said to have settled in the northeastern part of Cheshire, about 50 kilometers south east of. The process seemed lost on him. He took the drink order and after a lengthy pause in service, returned empty handed to take our dinner order. Still sitting here without a drink, I immediately changed my meal decision to a less- expensive choice, as I already knew I did not want to spend much here. He took our dinner choices and again started to walk away .. I had to stop him to order an appetizer! The drinks and appetizers arrived at the same time, as did my wife's salad. Portions of the former Longacres Riding Camp now available to purchase in varying size ideal for home sites, family estates, or private/commercial horse farms. The Longacres Riding Camp operated on 95 acres of rolling hills.My wife and another member ordered salmon dishes. The other member order prawns and chips, I ordered halibut and chips (french fries). When the meals arrived, all looked appealing except mine.
For some reason, cooks around Seattle and the Kitsap peninsula all tend to overcook fish .. And for the cost of the plate, $2. I have had larger portions served from fast food businesses. For a business that is as established as Ivar's Acres of Clams, this is a sad note. I will likely not return. There are other choices for a nice dinner and view of the harbor.
